Well, based on the artsy-fartsy pics, I'd have to wonder that myself. Very neat pages though ::tu::

Dear Mr. Catt, I wold like to place an order. Please send me 5 of the 1831's in the whittler pattern. Is C.O.D. accepted?

Yours truly, ....Joe Dirt
:lol:
Very nice find Catt! ::tu::

Hay guys, on a more serious note, what is the meaning of the 3 chain links and F L T, as on emblems 9, 26, 27, 28?
I have an NYKC office knife with the 3 link chain and F L T within each link. It also has a pair of eyes on each side of the chain??? ::shrug::

The 3 links are the sign of group called the ODD FELLOWS Faith Love Truth

A poorer man's version of the Masons

My dad was member and so is my son.

Not to active now days, but late 1800's to mid 1960's VERY prominent in many communities.
