just a prayer

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

I believe they are both in tall cotton Gringo. When I joined here in 07, those were 2 of the first to welcome me (and every one else.) I had the pleasure of meeting Johnnie at a knife show once, and had a lot of playful banter on the forum with Sir Wolf. Two finer gentlemen I don't believe you would ever come across. ::tu:: ::nod::

I have prayed often for them Donald.
They are two of the finest.

I still catch myself from time to time, thinking; "I should call Johnnis and tell him about......" whatever it is I was thinking about.
We used to talk several times a week. Johnnie was the one who mentored me as a moderator and showed me the ropes.
I still miss him.

In the AAPK logo I know or think JF stands for Johnnie Fain but what about the ( RD and BW ) .
I know just the little bit I read and heard from people on this site about Johnnie but know he was welled liked and loved by alot of people and very knowledgeable about knives. I regret not having the privileged and the horored of getting to know him.I pray for him and EL Lobo in ( the tall cotton ) and his wife Annette that all is well for her In Jesus's name Amen! ::pray::

Donald,
The BW is Bill Wolfe, aka; El Lobo.
RD is Richard or Roger, but I don't remember is last name.
One of the members who have been here longer than I have might remember.
He passed away shortly after I joined.

if anyone ever has questions about my behavior, or confusion in dealing with me...chronic pain makes you { me } insane...regardless of wants, it is reality.
