GEC Zippo Lighter
Here's an interesting item for the Zippo/Great Eastern Cutlery collector. It's not an actual Great Eastern Cutlery logo but it's made by Zippo the same company that owns Case. Not my lighter, not my auction and I'm not bidding.

If only I hadn't said "Not my lighter, not my auction and I'm not bidding." I would Monk but I can't go back on my word.

I don't know if that's true or not T.J. Mine has been re-hinged and it looked exactly the same when I got it back as it did when I sent it in. I couldn't tell the difference I'll have to take a picture of it and post it.
Nah, I lied. I just dragged it out and looked at it. It hasn't been re-hinged, they just stuck a new hinge pin in it. That lid wiggles and wobbles just like it did with the straight pin in there as a hinge pin. The hinge is getting very worn but I'm happy that except for the hinge pin, it's totally original.
Edit: Mine also has dimples. Not sure how you would spot weld those hinges on without getting dimples.
