LK CO. USA

I was wondering if anyone has any info on the LK CO. USA knife company...I've never heard of them, just picked up a used all steel knife with that stamping on the tang. It has a 2" spearpoint blade..

I think that if you look more closely , the stamp is probably IK Co. (Imperial Knife Co.) . Known as a boy's knife , probably made in the 1950's . Worth $10 - $15 . You will find your knife on page 2 of the post noted below .

I have one or two like that.
Mine say IK CO, they are Imperials.

Wow, upon further review, I believe you are correct!There is a dot after the I that makes it look like an L. Thanks for the quick info, it is a cool little knife, glad to have it.

Thats a sweet pocket knife. I like the bail and that it has just one bolster. Nice one 313Mike!!

According to some folks i've talked to, those were actually the first of the shell handled knives produced by Imperial. If that's true, they should date to the later part of the 30's. But, they may have made them for several years after that.

I have a couple of those that are the same except for the blades;mine have clip blades and are marked,"Imperial Prov RI USA".
