hello from kentucky

Post by oldhippie »

Hi from Western Kentucky. Been looking for a site like this for a long time. I've collected knives my whole life, got my first Russel Barlow when I was a kid for helping my dad paint the house, got a Case XX hawkbill the next year for christmas and that started me on the road to collecting. love to go to auctions and flea markets and look for the older knives that you can't get anymore.
glad to meet you folks

well, last year I won a Colt knife from a site on the net but couldn't remember the name so I typed 'knife giveaway' in the search and you guys popped up. must say, I won't forget where this site is. I've already learned quite a few things about knives that I didn't know

HELLO RITA; Again

Thanks for your answer.

We have some fun here too. I for one not know much about knives yet, but like you said here is a good place to learn.
Do you give your man in real life a knife for Christmas and his B-Day??
We have some very fair Stores in a top tab that you can get some for him and it helps keep this site running too. I do not have a store but just passing this along if you want to help. We all so have one each month a give-a-way knife but I see you know that.

he's not as interested in knives as I am. as long as he has one good carry knife he doesn't care about getting another one till that one wears completely out LOL. I like having a wide assortment myself
