I have one of those NYK timber scribes identical to the one posted.Had one of the IXL Tyne knives a long time ago and a friend wanted it more than I did.Here is a bit of a twist:an ivory handled knife with brass blades and liners.I think it is supposed to be a fruit knife and the hooked blade is for opening envelopes.

You got it Johnnie. That hooked blade is a Citrus blade, for unzipping the peel!!
