The Prov. Cut Co. Barlow came in today's mail. I got it for a penny plus $5 shipping. It cost the seller $6.05 to ship it. That's something I'd do.

It's a shell and I'm thinking the pen blade has been reprofiled. The point looks like they got it a little hot but otherwise they did a nice job. Anyone have a guess what the vertical lines on the pen blade are.

A little Mothers and the knife cleaned up pretty well. Can't compare to the previous knives shown here but hey, it was a penny.

I have the same handle on the Leek & the Scallion both (if I haven't traded one of the off by now).
I bought several at Kershaw a few years ago at their factory sale.

Of course you did. I forgot for a moment that you were a Kershaw dealer.

I managed to get the Scallion too. Can you believe no one else bid on it. I figured sure there would be two or three old Jarheads out there slobberin' over these. I'm just tickled pink with both the Leek and the Scallion. As usual when I get a new knife, they and the Barlow are sitting here on my desk and I can't seem to stop fondling them. Anyone know a good therapist?

Sweet knives guys! ::tu::

I'm into those Kershaws too, nice.

The mailman was good to me. A Case NKCA 1976 whittler, what I think is a Case 10 dot trapper with a muskrat blade and a Case truck/gunstock knife combo from SMKW. I think they were cleaning out their warehouse and unloaded a bunch of Case trucks last week.

I WISH! ::mdm:: Alas, I am not a Kershaw dealer.
I just live about 35-40 miles from the factory and I get Kershaws pretty often here in Oregon.
Kershaw two-can & Leek.jpg
This Damascus blade Leek is my favorite Leek. It frequently finds its way into my pocket. The Damascus is made of carbon steel and stainless. The Two-Can is a replacement (it arrived last week) for one I lost, a gift from my stepson. I carry it on my car keys.

So you have a $1 knife and a few others, worth what, $100, $200?
If a mental health therapist charges $150 per hour (a 4 year old figure found on line) and sees me twice per week, (some want to see you more); that = $300 per week X 52 weeks per year = $15, 600 per year, Just for my mental health. I figure I can spend $10,000 per year on knives and be better adjusted than most of the people going to shrinks and be $5,600 ahead!

A WIN-WIN SCENARIO!! ::ds:: ::ds:: ::ds::

These two just recently arrived in the past couple days......

Got both on auction. Snatched the Gunboat for a song but wound up paying more for the Marble's than I really wanted to. Evened out in the end. Couldn't be happier though.

Those USA made Marbles from the early 2000s (I think) are not easy to find. Sweet knives and cool weave/feather jigging on that Marbles too. ::tu::
