NEED HELP INFO ON SWITCH BLADES

Hey everyone trying to find out some info on these two knives for a friend. I was unable to find anything about them online. I have never heard of Bull anyway I believe both are antique American switch blades but not sure. the first two pics are from the same knife no other markings on this one plastic handles and the fit isn't the greatest to say the least. The second two pics are from a an unusual knife the handle is in the shape of a bull/cow leg no tang stamp blade reads stainless steel and on the bottom opposite side it says PAT. 131428 like I said checking them out for a friend any info would be greatly appreciated

hi and welcome to the club. i hope we can assist you with proper answers. here is mine.
one knife show i went to a few years back, i bought 2 switchblades, $6 for the both of them, not apiece, these look like they fit into that catagory. they do not look like anything of value, but i could be dead wrong. since the passing of the banning of switchblade laws, there are a lot of foriegn novelty ones out there...

thanks for the response I was afraid of that the only real reason I was wondering was there were actually 3 knives found together one of which I already got answers on which turned out to be a great find it was a Schrade model #7504 the fit and finish of the other 2 seemed to be poor quality but thought I would check for my buddy thanks again

I agree with the replies above - these are neither antique or American. Are you sure about the patent number? I did a pat search & the number you gave (131428) was issued on Sept 17, 1872 ??? Unfortunately, they did not have any description of what the patent was granted for. ???
