first U.S. manufactured pocket knife pattern?

This Russell barlow, from the Dexter website, is dated around 1855.
Is there any older American pocket knife pattern? Maybe a twin-bladed Jack?
I saw somewhere that the Congress is also one of the oldest patterns.

And just to clarify, there is dispute as to whether or not the Barlow started in the US or in England, yes?
