what do ya'll look like?

If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

Could be but quit worrying about what I look like and look how beautiful that Moto Guzzi is. I miss that old girl. I come close to getting her back about six or seven years ago. Missed it by about three or four months. Probably for the better. It wouldn't have been the same after that many years.

Nice Guzzi Jerry! ::tu::
Judging from the flair leg, low rise jeans that pic was taken in the early 70'S.
I remember those jeans...... ::facepalm::

1975 Moto Guzzi 850-T. The picture was taken in 1978. When those low riding, flair leg jeans wore out I cut the legs off and wore them as shorts. When I out grew the shorts, I gave them to my ex-sister-in-law and she wore them for several years. They were pretty tired by the time they went in the trash.

Those Guzzi's are great bikes. You can buy engine parts at NAPA for 'em.

Damn shame that particular bunch of Italians scrimped on the chrome thickness and paint.

The bikes will run forever but they get pretty "used" looking if not kept inside and out of the sun and weather.

I like 'em. Ridden several, never owned one. Damn things handle great and pull like a tractor.

Here's a pic of buddy of mine's "goose" that he's going from OH to Davenport on this week.

There was just something about that big fat five gallon gas tank between you legs and those two jugs sticking out on the sides that made it something special. I'll tell you this, it was a hell of a lot smoother than that bumble bee Honda 350 I had just crawled off of. You're right. Run all day every day and pull like a team of mules. I considered getting one of those California Specials but you know what they say, "You can never go back.".

One thing about 'em, re-sale value is low, so you can buy a good used one worth the money.
