Winchester model 3621

Post by cusprider »

Just bought a balloon whittler, Winchester model 3621 and am hoping someone has got a reference for this model. :)

Have used up my own references with little luck. Although a couple of models ,the 3925 and 30?? ,have the same frame and blades.
References I've have used are Price (both price guide and Big book), Houston and Voyle's "Antique knives".

Other than this unlisted model #, I,m happy with the knife. Has the look and feel of an older Pre-WWII Winchester ::nod::

Thanks Wm

I had a 3621 that I sold, probably four years ago; wooden handles - saber ground - etched - cool knife. I think I have a 1928 Winchester catalog with that pattern described in it. When I get home (Sunday) from the CKCC show, I will check and if the info is in the catalog I'll copy the page and mail it to you.

Thanks thefarside and enjoy the show

Bought this from HH knives. Hank told me that he had Dave Scott from Bluegrass Cut. Co say that it wasn't one of his knives and that Dave thought it was an older Winchester. Also have Ron Stewart's price guide and Big Book, also Parker & Voyles's '84 price Guide. These references also don't mention the 3621

William,
My catalog is actually from 1926 and it doesn't list a 3621, but I know I found some information on that pattern in one of my reference books, I will keep looking.

i have the 1926-27 catalog also, no referrence to the 3621 pattern, but it does list the 3925.. here is what it reads;
sabre clip blade, small clip and small pen blades.
pocket blade full polished.
stag handle.
nickle silver bolsters and lining. crest shield.
$30.00 per dozen.

i'll take 100 dozen please..
