can anyone tell me anything about these knives
on 1 blade it has solingen germany and on another it says limited edition also the outer emblems say usa on 1 and csa on the other its lee and grant and their troops general robert e lee and johnny rebel and general ulysses s grant and billy yank number 249 of 1500 made sorry the pics r not better but all i have at the moment is a camera phone

They were made by Kissing Crane. 1500 sets made in 1976. They are called Anglo Saxon whittlers.

you can see the smoochin cranes in the middle pic. nice set
kissing crane did a lot of anglo saxons along with bulldog during that period. nkca's 1st club knife was a kc anglo whittler

It's the first time I've seen that Anglo Saxon Whittler pattern and I really like it. I would have told ya I would give you a buck and a half and a kiss on the cheek for one of 'em but when I looked 'em up on eBay - Jesus, Joseph and Mary!!! They're expensive!!!
