Thanks Charlie, I use Chicago screws (2) to attach the belt buckle.RobesonsRme.com wrote:Those look very nice.
How did you secure the loop around the buckle? Staples, Brads, or brass male/female nuts?

Where do you get your horsehide?
Man....if that belt could talk, I bet it could tell some hellacious stories.jerryd6818 wrote:Fine looking belts. I think that's just what I'm looking for. How do cowhide and horsehide compare for everyday wear, shape retention and stretching over time? My current belt (width = 1 3/8") has put in 15+ years of great service and is ready to retire. Can you come within a close proximity of replicating the color on this old friend and pants holder upper. (I don't expect it to be exact. Just horseshoes and hand grenades close will work.) I saw this one on your website and it looks like it will probably work, color and all. I'll PM for purchase details when I'm ready to pull the trigger.

It looks more like light brown to me,
I really like that buckle on your salty friend there...I hope you will consider using it with the replacement.
but I can also make them about 3/16" thick for those who are just wanting everyday wear, tougher than nails pants holder uppers. Still plenty thick, and will outlive us all.....
I look forward to working with you on your next one...
