i agree with you tj,, its nice that it has survived a century in that condition. i dont know what i would do if it was an easy open...
there are only 2 bidders since it was $75.

I saw that earlier, too. And I agree with you guys. It's a fantastic knife, but you really have to want it for that price, in my uninformed opinion. Maybe it's worth the money, but it's a lot of money to me.

I was watching that auction myself. It went for more than I thought it would. Sure was pretty though.

IMO the etch is what boosted the price that high. You don't find many that old with the etch that clear.

You really bought that one Paul? I sure is a nice knife and I would have loved to have it. You did see his comment that there is a crack in the handle? If I had had the spare $$ I would have still bought. Still a beautiful knife. Congrats

Thanks TJ & Phil . yes i seen the comment about the crack knife but looked all original which is a rare thing on ebay .

Not to rain on anbody's parade but it appears to have steel & brass pins in the handle or is that a trick of the light? :|
