That is 72 pattern, yes? I
Dave...I think so....On his website,He describes it as the Scout model. ::shrug::

The knife Johnnie has is a #73 Scout, pattern****___the #72 pattern( Mini-Lockback-Hunter) is a single blade, lockback,like the ones, below ::tu::

I just got 2 of these in the mail today. The Genuine Stag and the Garnet Jigged Bone.
Thought I would post them with the other #65's I have. The Primitive Bone and Seashell
Perylic are Proto's and the other spear is a short run Buffalo Horn model. These Ben Hogans
are very impressive knives. If you like GEC and don't have a #65 yet, you should try one.

Thanks Gunstock - I think the spear models are really cool too. Maybe they will do a
2-blade model of the #65...........................seems like someone mentioned it in a post.

Heres 2 that I got in the mail today from Hank at HHKnives....I know that I've said it before..but He is a very nice and generous Man to do business with!! ::nod:: ...Thanks Hank!! ::tu::

First one is a CaseXX 13031L pattern from the 1965-69 era....MINT condition. 8)
Second is a Queen 1981 NKCA knife....it has the fattest stag scales that I've seen!! :D

IM it's good to see another Hogan fan, thats a very nice lineup.... ::tu::

This one followed me home, a 4 1/4" saddlehorn by John Howser...D2 steel blades, stainless bolsters and liners and amber bone scales...John builds one heck of a knife... ::nod::

The sheath came with it...made by Old Pueblo Leather in Tucon, AZ....you ever heard of them Johnnie...?

No ..I don't. ::shrug:: Tucson is called "The Old Pueblo" so there is a lot of shops that use that term as part of there business's name. ::nod:: There's an "Old Pueblo" everything...know what I mean?......so if I wasn't looking for it...I would probably pass it right by. :roll:

I got a 5 pack in the mail today, looks like I have some cleaning to do. This lobster caught my eye; a Camillus with a Sword Brand stamp on the mail blade. You guys ever see this before? ::shrug::

Wasn't Sword Brand to Camillus as Schatt & Morgan is to Queen? I might be wrong but I thought I heard someplace that was Camillus's premium or upscale brand. Am I out in left field here on this?

redrider, i have this lobster knife, same markings as yours, only mine has brown rogers jigged bone handles, it's well used, was when i got it 20 years ago, but i love it, it's a neat pattern.
