Well, I presume this person has "antiqued" their other daggers they have listed for sale as well. I found this one to be fake for sure. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0830694922

below is a picture of the fake for future reference. here is a link to the "new" atlanta cutlery dagger, without the "antiquing."

I contacted the seller, he told me to go do things to myself and that "this is the original"

I just sent him the link and asked why he's selling a $39.95 knife for $800. I probably won't be on his Christmas card list this year.

i sent him the link too, he gave me a very long n nasty response, saying that his knife is the ORIGINAL this was based on... and its from a museum because it has the stamp! lol

Hey Joe,

Thanks Charlie!

The inspiration came from a former student who once called me, among other things, "... capricious, curmudgeonly, and caprine-like ..." in his evaluation at the end of the semester. I gave him points for the alliteration though it did not affect his course grade (as it was after the fact).

And it reminds me of Kilroy.
