Jerry, i would say a lot . you can tell every one here gets the first ones by the consecutive serial numbers being posted
Is it just me or does the Ben Hogan look like an extended frame Copperhead?

I think your right Paul. I've had that impression floating around in my mind for quite some time. I don't know how many knives they produce in a given year but there sure are a lot of them that show up here on AAPK. I'm betting Big Monk accounts for about half their yearly production. They should put him on the board of directors. We could tag him with a new moniker. How about Great Eastern Cutlery Chairman of the Board. I'll bet it would be cheaper for him to buy the company and just take what he wants as they come off the assembly line.

I just noticed you're out on Eastern Long Island. I'd like to go out there some day. I've never been beyond MacArthur Airport.

Mr. Chairman. You're calling an attempt to corner the GEC market, an act of nature?

My newest is a GEC #66 River Valley Bone Jack. I didn't really give these guys a chance at first but I must say they've grown on me. Black Micarta, Pearl LG+, and Snakewood round out the collection.

It's hard to imagine cuttin' large rope at sea... watch those fingers! Easy to understand why so few survived the rigors of whaling and of merchant mariners in those days. Salt air and carbon steel soon equals..., well, you know. ::tear::
