somebody is gonna be pizzed when they learn this is actually from the 1970s.... and the knives don't match the pattern numbers on the board..... and some of the knives are used.... :(

I agree..for one thing the knives look way too new it should be easy to see.
I saw something simlar to this at the flea market the other day.
An old Schrade picture frame type display,the oldest looking one I have seen but the knives were newer uncle henrys..Just didn't look right.
I didn't ask the price..

I am not too knowledgeable about Boker patterns, but looking at the prices they are way too high for the 1950s.
It is nice the seller posted the question, many of them won’t even take the trouble.

Q: these are from the seventies. you either 1. are trying to rip off people or (most likely) 2. do not know the age of these. Please inform your buyers. Aug-03-11
A: wow, i think you are correct. the label on the back has the WISS name on it. boker became a division in 1969. i never saw that till just now. this could be from the 70's. if anyone wants to change their bid, that is ok and i apologize. thanks for the heads up.
