Mike, he worked for GEC with the Cad program on that knife. after i bought one he went back next day and got another. i guess helping designing the knife from a old platts gave him a special in with the company ::shrug::

Holy sh__!!! Nice whitetail shed! That's a buck with some shoulders! ::paranoid::

The pattern # is 5347. Yeah Barry I wish I could have found the other side of that shed, it has 6 points on this side. The tines are not that long but the main has nice mass.

Hey John Yeah I am proud of this one, I started collecting 5347 pattern about a year ago. I am going to try and find all the older ones, might take awhile but thats what makes it interesting.

Welcome back. ::ds::

You've got some nice ones there. ::tu::

I've been eyeing one of those ESEE knives myself. I've got a Ontario Rat 5 but I think I'd like a smaller one like the one you have.

My latest pick-ups:

The first is a leg knife by Undy Cutlery Co. of Newark, NJ. The spring is misaligned so the blade doesn't stay open but the knife is so rare I still love it. The other one is the smallest New York Knife Co. jack I've ever seen. It has ebony scales and is only 2 3/8" long.

One of my best buddy's is leaving on vacation tomorrow (Do retired people get to call it vacation when they go someplace?) so today he brought my birthday present over early. It's a Stag Weidmannsheil 2297-S, two blade, lockback trapper or hunter - I've seen it called both. Which ever you call it, I gotta tell ya, at 4 1/4", it's one hunk of knife. I've wanted a Weidmannsheil in my accumulation for several years and I'm just tickled pink.
