110 Buck, when was it made?

Post by stockman »

I could not figure out the dating charts on AAPK. If you will give a couple clicks the stamp should be clear. It is BUCK/-110- U.S.A.

Thanks Stockman

I'm no expert on Buck but it does appear that your knife was made prior to 1986. The reason I say that is because that is the first year that Buck utilized the date codes to indicate the particular year a knife was made. Your knife does not have any of the date code marks.

According to Levine's guide it was made between 1983 and 1985. Distinguishing characteristics are the dots on either side of the 110 and the extra rivet in the handle.
