Something New - Need Some Input
Good day friends!
I would like to present something we are very excited about here at AAPK. David Anthony (pa knives) has come up with an idea to create and share podcasts with the AAPK community. He has put together a demo to present and I've been working on the groundwork for us to be able to display and play them here on the site.
edit -> added a second podcast (changed format)...
Click the here to play the demo.
We have several ideas in mind for intriguing content, but before we progress further, we would be interested in your thoughts and ideas. Please don't hold back any constructive criticisms.
If you have something you would like to podcast, we hope to be open for contributions in the near future as well.
Thanks!
Bryan

Yes I did Bryan, thanks..No matter what I tried yesterday it would not make a sound.
Now today I can't get PA to be quiet...
Only joking..I was starting to embarass myself and getting a complex because I wasn't smart enough to figure it out...
Thanks again, this site has always been located at the top of the mountain now it's going into space..

Great Idea Bryan and Pa Knives,
I just listened to it and I really think you two are on the verge of something extra special... I also like the idea of using You Tube...it is also a site with a tons of traffic. Great exposure for the Knife Collecting community. This is so exciting
glad to be a part of this site.
Let's "ALL" help to keep it going.
Later,
Kj

So I did a quick search on You Tube, and here are a few I found interesting, the first link is a joke, but I found humorus, the 2nd is something I could see some of our members doing, except with narration instead of music and the rest are just general things I came across:
Knives for Guns: http://youtube.com/watch?v=xr8PQDoZXSo
SAK: http://youtube.com/watch?v=DbOZL8sIpT8
How to sharpen a knife (joke) http://youtube.com/watch?v=dM2tiu8zS0E
Another knife sharpening demo: http://youtube.com/watch?v=ttdTCJxv6uw
Scale release auto: http://youtube.com/watch?v=MIVrYdrJam4
Now obviously we do not want to take away from this site, and I don't know if we would be able to post videos here on AAPK, but we could link videos to show off collections, care & maintenence, knife making etc etc. Just another way we could share knowledge to better educate us knife junkies!

Yeah, yeah
I like it....
I will subscribe....would prefer it be about community news or market conditions, trends, or happenings...maybe a feature pattern or brand from time to time.
Would love David to share some interesting tidbits on the old knife brands too!
