She's a little bit blurred, but will fake blue abalone be OK? Funny thing is, I can't recall if it had the gap at the bolster 10 years ago when I bought it or not...could be why I got such a good deal. I still like it, though...it made the church circulation knife box I keep!

i like that mate, im sure imatation materials still shrink as ive got another old knife with plastic scales that has shrunk a lot

How about this little cap-bolstered Clover Brand? I believe it was made in the Camillus plant in Syracuse NY some time before 1922.

I have one of those 6 blade Bokers like testcase. I think these two foot the bill as well, an Ulster and a Fight'n' Rooster.

That is real pearl and is also the same knife that is on the front of the Fightn Rooster Book wrote by Jim Parker.
