Camco Jack Knife

Post by oldbill »

I just found a Camco knife in my Dad's old hunting box. It doesn't appear that it was ever used. It is a 2 3/4 inch, pearl handled jack knife, stamped "Camco USA" on the main blade, and 705 on the flip side. The small blade has an unusual, squared-off shape at the tip (I will take a pictue and post tomorrow). Anyone with info regarding this knife?

After the picture we can look it up. A lot of the better reference books have pictures of a lot of the older knives.

Here are the pictures I promised; I don't have any reference source for this knife.

Oldbill,
Camco is a brand of Camillus, usually considered to be a line of lesser quality.
Still a cool knife.
That small blade is sometimes called a coping blade.
