Ok,heres the picture of the $12,000 5 blade Case Sowbelly 6539.!
This is just for the fun(?) and significance of it.
The guy that has it is using Jim sargents price guide for the value and of course that is for a mint example,this one I wouldn't call it mint,but it was nice.
sorry for the poor quality of the pic...I couldn't think right after seeing it! ::tounge:: :roll: :shock: :? :x ::drool::

:) .I know what you mean...I was messing around with it for awhile and the guy had no problem with it ::drool:: ::nod:: and I just met the guy.

Whow! without a doubt a nice knife with a lot of history. I'm a vintage knife guy and have dropped a few dollars on a nice one when I have it; However the day I even think about 12K on a knife is the day I'm done collecting. 12K just really has to make one think more ::facepalm::

considering what it sold for new makes it even more insane!. :shock:
I have no idea what he paid for it but he doesn't expect to get $12,000 for it. :roll:
It IS for sale though so if anyone here is inclined,,I have his number! ::tounge::
