i know its about six months old but.... anybody fork out forty bucks for a GEC steak knife? if so, hows it working out??

or did anyone get the templar? I've been wanting to get one of those...

I bought a templar, I really like it. I haven't bought another, though.

big monk i just lump all those under scouts. i know gec sticks different names on those although they all basically on the same frame. great selection & probably the best rounded pattern in all of gec lineup. the single blades will easily slip in levis pockets .The double blades are a little heavier but all of them can handle all city jobs & most ranch work. i usually use the larger pioneer for cutting poly harness off hay "ton buns" on my brothers ranch since a longer blade is better . these scouts can sure do a whitetail deer although i like the 23 a little better. good photo.--HiPower
