The wife kept telling me to get a new hobby, besides BBQing, so I decided to start collecting pocket knives. I went to a local gun show down here in Austin, TX this weekend and picked up my first piece. I know less than nothing about collecting knives but "The Official Price Guide to Collector Knives, 15 Edition" by C Houston Price and Mark Zalesky is on the way. Look forward to learning from the community here.
I believe this to be a Schrade but it has this weird mark through the name. Does this mean it was a reject or something? I think its from '89 considering the date after the signature. I have two basset hounds and while this most likely a beagle on the handle it was close enough for me to buy it. I paid $30.
