I really like them both. The jack with the etched blade is really something with those fancy bolsters. I'd like to know the closed length on that one. Any ideas on who the mfg was done by?

THANKS, Philco & Thawk. the knife measures 3 5/8 inches. the Mfg. i really don't know. maybe by luck i'll run into another stamped different.

That shield in combination with that ebony is absolutely breathtaking!
To me there is a certain sense of perfection about that knife: simple & beautiful!

Both great knives Paul. I've never seen a blade ethced with the original price. At 1.50 it must be old. Slim.

Great etched knife you have. I had one just like it and sold it years ago, needed the cash at the time and hated to let it go. Many companies made for Maher Grosh, Miller Bros, Schrade, Utica to name a few.
