Overdone Pulls?

Post by biglmbass »

Double pulls might look okay on some patterns, but this just looks wrong. ::td:: ::barf:: I suspect you couldn't get enough leverage on the long pull to open it anyway. The deeply struck & perfectly sufficient cresent nick looks great though. Hope this trend of doubles @ GEC passes quickly.

it's certainly unusual, but it's not a deal-breaker for me.
the long pull seems a little too low, and the crescent pull seems too large to me, and they would've looked better as matchstrike pulls, imo.
the sabre grind of the blade is sweet!

There just seems to be too much going on when you look at the blade. You've got the saber grind, double pulls, blade etch, and a swedge. Yikes! Tone it down a little, fellas. ::skeptic::

certainly the shiny bar of polish which we usually see on the saber grinds is interuppted a little excessively for my tastes.---HiPower
