John Ek

My lovely little wife of 27 years bought this John Ek knife for my anniversary present.
Can't wait to see it in person. I hope it gets here by Friday!

I've been looking for one of these for a while now, and this one finally fit my pocketbook.
Yep, I am a tightwad ....

I like Eks...I have 2 of the bowies, 1 pigsticker, and 1 aussie bowie. They're Effingham models, but that's fine with me. I removed the paracord wrap that was the handle of one of the bowies as it didn't feel right, and made an oak handle (the other has a walnut handle). They make good, honest fighting knives.

Here's how that one turned out...not artwork, but a user:

Only about a $5 investment at the local hardware, and a good therapy project

That's a nice gift she gave you...now you'll be looking for more of them ::super_happy::
The beatings will continue until morale has improved...

Nice job on the re-handle ::tu:: .
If I get another one it will be a bowie style like yours. :)
