Sleeveboard Knives

Post by smiling-knife »

I was rummaging around on the weekend and came across this Camillus sleeveboard pen knife that I almost forgot I had. I quite like the shape and would like to see more. :) s-k

I have to apologize. Some of my posted knives were obviously not sleeveboards but senators.

Hopefully, you can forgive me.

To make it up to you, here is an interesting sleeveboard lobster...

Just for clarification can someone define what makes a sleeve board knife?
I am not sure that I could define it.

Thanks,

Shaped like an old ironing board for shirts. Larger at the end where the shoulder would go, and smaller at the cuff end.

No starch please...

Bill
That is so simple and obvious I totally missed it!
I suppose the younger folks probably don't know what an ironing board is. ::shrug::

When I was working I took my shirts to the cleaners and had them starched. You would be surprised how much you can get away with if you have a starched shirt!

Since I retired my official uniform is a Carhartt T-shirt (with pocket) and a pair of jeans. No starch necessary. ::tu::

Thanks for the info.
