Sleeveboard Knives
I was rummaging around on the weekend and came across this Camillus sleeveboard pen knife that I almost forgot I had. I quite like the shape and would like to see more.

Just for clarification can someone define what makes a sleeve board knife?
I am not sure that I could define it.
Thanks,
Dale

Shaped like an old ironing board for shirts. Larger at the end where the shoulder would go, and smaller at the cuff end.
No starch please...

Who said "Mystery Knife"?

No SLOP...they all have to go in the watchpocket...
That way there's always Hoppe for me.
Mystery was a poor choice of words with a Sharpshooter like you aboard.

There sure are some beauties in this threead!!
Here's a repro Wade & Butcher 3 11/16" stag slim sleeveboard split backspring whittler. (I'm glad my mama didn't give me a name like that!)
I think it's a Jim Parker project knife from Germany.

That is so simple and obvious I totally missed it!El Lobo wrote:Shaped like an old ironing board for shirts. Larger at the end where the shoulder would go, and smaller at the cuff end.

I suppose the younger folks probably don't know what an ironing board is.

When I was working I took my shirts to the cleaners and had them starched. You would be surprised how much you can get away with if you have a starched shirt!

Since I retired my official uniform is a Carhartt T-shirt (with pocket) and a pair of jeans. No starch necessary.

Thanks for the info.
