B5, thank you very much, that tuxedo is one of my favorites, It has a special place in my heart for sure.
I pared it up with a couple books from my favorite writers, Jim Corbett, and Peter Capstick.

Re: Knife Photography
J2S, from here looks like you have it down to a fine art.
Some mighty fine blades being posted too (jmho).
I'd like to offer up a few for your perusal.
This DR6104L is during midday bright sun against my own advice
to use early a.m. overcast whenever possible.
Knife, box, catalog on ladder placed against shaded side of the house.
So knife is in the shade but blades pick up bright reflections from yard
beyond house's shadow. This VTH61165 had a small amount of the gold mat reflecting in the blade.
By moving it around and adjusting tripod height finally got the reflection
to line up with color change on the catalog.
Was it worth letting the coffee turn cold? I dunno. [/color]

Re: Knife Photography
WJ, thank you very much for the compliments.
I love that lockback, I could see myself doing up a couple squirrel with that thing,
really looks like a good pocket piece. That Hunter/Trapper photo, is one of my faves, really a cool shot.

tripleF, That bright price tag sure does standout. Reminds me of what that German girl said to me the other night.

I like a Rapala, I just don't get out enough to use it.
The gourd knife would be a Queen, maybe one of the 11 models, or something like that.
JR, would know.
