CCC Stamped on Tang Questions

I am having a hard time finding any information on the CCC mark. At this point I am just kind of wondering if this knife is counterfeit. At one point I was told it was an older Cattaraugus Cutlery Company knife. However it doesn't look like any of their marks and it doesn't look that old. Any thoughts on who might have made this knife?

Levine's lists several makers with the C.C.C. marking, one of which is Cattaraugus. This knife would have to be a Cattaraugus since it's also marked Little Valley. The knife does appear to be authentic.

By the way, is there a pattern number stamped on the knife, if so, that might help authenticate it.

Thanks for your help on this. There is not number on the blade or otherwise. Do you happen to know if that CCC mark can put any certain age to the knife? I was curious as to how old this might be as well.

what is the closed length?
If it's 3 5/16 it could be a no.22226

The frame and handles look like Remington not Catt.

The bone does look a little more like Remington than the Cattaraugus I'm familiar with. Of course, Cattaraugus did change their bone jigging style during their long history, any chance it could be from a very old Catt?

By the way, on a more careful viewing, the shield on this knife isn't really a shield that I've seen on a Catt.

I don't know..the scales are worn a bit smooth so it's hard to say 100%
But the shield looks right to me.
been buffed but nice knife though..
