This is how I spent my afternoon off on MLK day.
It is a Schrade+ 507SC USA made folding hunter. I picked up a few of these that hadn't been scrimshawed. I removed the plastic handles and replaced them with Cocobolo. I replaced the brass center pin with mosaic pin and worked the lock bar and blade.
I think the cocobolo is a better choice than the plastic any day.

yowza, thats really nice. Very neat, using the mosaic pin and the cocobolo mix, the filework is really good too.
