Schrade 507

Post by agteacher2 »

This is how I spent my afternoon off on MLK day.

It is a Schrade+ 507SC USA made folding hunter. I picked up a few of these that hadn't been scrimshawed. I removed the plastic handles and replaced them with Cocobolo. I replaced the brass center pin with mosaic pin and worked the lock bar and blade.

I think the cocobolo is a better choice than the plastic any day.

I like that filework and the use of a mosaic pin, looks good in Cocobolo! ::tu:: Is it my imagination, or did you use a light box on this, your pictures have improved!
