i have been looking at a old remington umc two blade stockman at a shop i go to once a month jus abt and the biggest problem is the shield is gone but over all it ok they want 22 for it

It is crucially dependent on the pattern, the most common two bladed yellow handled pattern I see is an R155, a 3 1/2" regular jack. You've got to figure getting the shield replaced in my opinion to make it collectible, unless it's a very rare pattern. With that factored in, I think I'd bide my time for a better deal. Of course, I'm a terrible cheapskate.

i think i could make a shield out of sliver and put back on it a good friend of mind did that to one of his knives and it looks like it was the way it came i thinkk they are alittle to high on it with it missing the shield i am going to try and see if they wont come down on it some
