_____I had another of the ELKs in hand,but it had a pin crack,so ,I sent it back,in exchange for a burnt stag ""Weaver Jack""___wasn't going to buy a "'Weaver"" at all,till I got the Ivory,and sorta,took a likin' to the little knife

Finally got my elk stag 72 today. It doesn't have near the texture that some of you guys examples have, being nearly smooth. I like it!

… and I've been meanin' to post this Ancient Kauri Cuban (1 of 3) that I picked up at an auction a little while back … the grain and colors in this thing are amazing when the light catches it … hard to capture …

… that's about it for now, I have some others I want to put up, but picture time is scarce these days … I do really enjoy seein' all the knives you guys post - thanks for sharing!

Real nice selection, Edge. Nicely matched pairs and great all-around choices. I haven't been able to locate a decent 72 clip in elk; I was looking for one similar to yours, but could only aquire a smooth one. I'm still on the fence about keeping it, but I did find a nice elk wharnie.

The Tuna Valley's are sweeet! Just ordered my second, 2nd ed. to add to my three 1st ed. and first 2nd ed.

All stag, of course.

Really nice TV's, Barry! I like the trapper w/ end cap a lot …

I know what you mean about the Elk - took me a couple tries to get this one.

Mike, I really like them a lot. I have another clip in each handle on the way for EDC, as these are going into the "vault" …

I like the smooth action and lock up, (not nail busters, but with GEC quality), and the 440C will take some abuse/neglect - nice combination for EDC, I think.
