Blade adjustment on a 72

Post by BuckeyeSchatt »

Has anybody done any file work on the Kick of the Tang on a 72 I would like to have the blade sit lower into liner. I have done this on more than a few Case 52 Congress that I carry so the front coping blade would sit lower, that helps me get to the back sheepfoot or the master spear blade nail nick . I know if you file to much the blade will rest on the bottom pin and that will hurt the blade edge. I'm a little leary to start filing away on my 72.
