Now if you have many knives you carry, pick one. the best one. i personally carry a kershaw rainbow leek everywhere i go be cause it was a gift from my uncle before he passed. plus it is a great knife. it has assisted opening and full body lock. you can get it at harrys army and navy for around 88.99. please give reviews and where to buy said knife. thank you. :D

Well I'll go first, I ain't scairt
I've got about 5 knives in my EDC sack.
The one I pocket most mornings is a green alox SAK Cadet.
If I choose one of the other EDCs, at some point every day
I find myself needing one of the Cadet's features.
In addition to the spear blade it has a cap lifter with large screwdriver tip,
the can opener with small screwdriver tip, and
finger nail file with pointed tip (works well on scratch-off tickets).
Have used the cap lifter as a mini prybar w/no ill effects.
And it's nice not to have to head for the toolbox when a screw needs adjustment or tightening.
3.25" closed, it will fit in the watch pocket if you don't want it clanking around with your pocket change.
Not sure why, but looks like SAK quit making the colored alox models,
seems the silver alox is only Cadet currently available.
I doubt I would rate it as the best one but certainly the most useful.

Great review Wosey, now I'm looking into them cadets. ::tu::

Right now, I have my GEC #72 Elk in my pocket. I've only had it a few days but it handles perfectly.
Nice tight lockup, a very smooth open, and a decent snap when closing. The stag on mine fills the hand real well and gives a good grip when in use. The clip blade has a bit of a belly, and it's really come in handy the last few days, opening packages, general food prep, and some cardboard cutting. I am a 1095 fan, but it's nice to cut into a strawberry and not have that taste, and smell of a patina. The 440-c has handled perfectly and the factory edge is still razor sharp, even after the cardboard. It's very much like carrying a #73L with the weight and thickness. I have a feeling that belly will help with skinning this year, I'll be trying my knife out if were blessed with the opportunity this deer season.

Nice pick wosey. I like that green alox. I have an alox SAK Pioneer that I like for the useful features but I've been carrying Great Eastern knives for the past 6 month so.

Caleb I love that 72 in elk. I haven't had the heart to put mine in the pocket yet. ::shrug::

This is my current EDC, a Northfield 481211 dogleg jack, one of the finest knives I own. Beautiful cherry red jigged bone scales, very solid with strong back spring that gives a good snap when closing but isn't hard to pull open. Nice sized knife at 3.875 inches and the clip and pen carbon steel blade combination is my favorite. This knife arrived very sharp and I haven't had to sharpen it yet.

Beautiful design and workmanship on this one. This knife is just perfect in the hand and is a classic to look at.

I love all of these and are my general edc, but if i had to pick one pocket knife it would be the 303 buck cadet at the bottom of the pic, its a perfect sized knife and i love the stockman pattern as i find folk arnt too scared of the smaller blades :D also a tough little knife very well made and pretty easy to sharpen up,
