Well, I got the three knives and my guesses weren't too bad, I really bought the knives for the top knife, which I thought was an NYK. In reality, they are Schrade Walden (890), Camillus, and Cattaraugus. So, I got two out of three, not a bad average for a baseball hitter, but I wouldn't want to go disarming bombs with that average. Actually, I'm going to give myself partial credit on the Schrade, since it was made in the same town (Walden) as the NYK's ::paranoid::

I haven't seen the bone on the Schrade Walden on a Schrade Walden before. The only genuine bone I can remember seeing on one is the peachseed variety.

It's really opened my eyes. Before this, whenever I saw a Schrade Walden with this type of jigging, I just assumed it was delrin, so much for that. I thought I knew a little bit about Schrades, so much for that.

Nice old Boker Greg! I got this fixed blade today. Nice Hubertus, seller thought maybe the
handles were Sambar? I am not sure on that, but I do love the knife, its 10" long with a 6" blade.

JR - glad that you like your Kate, mine isn't here yet......................has a ways to travel though.

Paul, I'm not much on Canoes but those two are slicker'n snot on a door knob. If I were a man of means and came on their brothers, I'd snap 'em up in a heartbeat.
