Colonel Littleton Knives

Post by mikekoz »

We were at the Mast General store in Boone, NC, and they had some knives in the men's dept. that were branded Colonel Littleton. The girl that helped me said they were hand made in Tennessee, and they were really nice looking knives. Here is a link to the one I was looking at:

http://www.colonellittleton.com/?p=prod ... 3&id=k5fsb

The knife was selling for $98.00 and seemed to be be well made, except the blade did not fold into the handle perfectly straight. Are any of you familiar with this brand, and are they worth $98.00?? We are in Boone one more day, so your responses may determine whether I get one or not. Thank you all in advance for any help or info you can provide!

They look like Bear & Sons to me... ::shrug::

Linerlocks sure have some resemblance. ::hmm:: .....I couldn't find the trappers with long pulls though. But I was looking at there 2011 catalog. ::shrug::
There lockbacks and linerlocks ....I would guess that they were made by Bear & Son. :)

For that kinda $$.... should have been issue free..IMHO. ::nod::

All of you , thank you! I was kind of leaning on passing up on it, and I do think they are too much $$$ for what they are. :|
