Nice one Edge. I really like their smooth 2nd cut stag.

The stag on that knife is horrible

, I'll tell you how to fix it though.... and you don't even have to send it to me.

Take the knife from the tube, make sure it has a good edge, now put it in your pocket and use it, in a few weeks the stag will mellow out, then cut up some trout and eat them.

If you do this for a couple months everything will be fine, but right now it needs help.

P.S.

I'm jealous, thats my issue, in all reality the knife is perfect and I love the stag,

but I do think it would be an awesome EDC.

2dead I'm carrying a cherry jigged bone 48 just like yours. I really like it.

Mike, I have to say that seeing yours is what pushed me over the edge to get one too. The only one I don't have now is the glitter gold which I refuse to buy (at full price

Funny how that works isn't it? Man, these GEC threads cost me a lot of money! How do you like yours? I am really starting to favor the jigged bone over just about everything else. They do a fantastic job with it.

Got a few great examples of the no. 56 pattern in natural materials. This is a very pocket friendly carry knife.

I also really like the no. 12 pattern as it has classic styliing and is slightly larger than the 56.

Here they are side by side:

Both of these patterns have the handy-dandy pen blade that is sadly missing from all but one example of the 73 pattern, and it has that damn spey master.

Nice "little" knives there Barry and Monk...since you boy's are "downsizing" maybe you should send your biggen's to me for safe keeping....

I'm a little late to the party on the doglegs though I have never been a fan of a serpentine pattern, but I must say that they really are nice in the hand...I think I prefer the spear blade over the clip...but dang looking at all of these I might need to grab a primitive bone and B.S.

It's buffalo horn. It's one of those "cowboy somebody" knives. I forgot his name, guess I AM gettin' old! Nice knife, though, with typical beartrap action.
