Mike,
I would have to agree with M-M, though I would like to see the tang stamp.
Schrade made what they wanted & what their customers wanted. There were certain knives in their line that were made for a particular customer. This was known as SFO (Special Factory Order).

A good example of SFOs are some of the orange handled Old Timers, (mostly fixed blades). I know at least one pattern was made for SMKW and would not be surprised to learn that all the orange handled Old Timers were made for SMKW.

Here is another Schrade head scratcher, who was it made for? It looks like a Copenhagen, but it isn't?

Nice knife, I just wish it was carbon steel.

Dale

Look familiar? A Purina SFO.

Thanks Nick, ::tu::
I had not seen that one. Do you have an estimate on the age?

Colorado address on the warranty card? No big mystery. I've seen lots of those. Is cheaper for a big company to have a second firm handle that stuff.... and the second firm will be selling your address and information to everyone else.

Sorry Dale no info on the date. I just picked that one up about a year ago.
