allergic reaction

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

allergic reaction

Post by gringo »

found out thursday...i am allergic to pennicillin...so they said in the emergency room when my face swelled up and my arms caught fire from the inside and i grew a rash from fingertips to belly...

::facepalm:: no money for the script...so i end up in fetal position all weekend...cept to banter once or twice in here...

tuesday drive to ft. whipple...45 miles of am i really risking my life to get a free prescription at the va?
mingus mountain eats distracted drivers...wicked wicked...
va fills my script..tells me i only feel like i am dying...
a vet came running out to help me into the emergency room..i couldn't get out of the car...

god ain't done with me yet..
but damn pain.
i am so tired of constant pain...an drugs do not help ::teary_eyes::

sorry to hear this gringo, ive had alergy problems for a long time now and on so many meds its stupid, cost me a bomb a month that as a family we struggle to pay, on top of my special eating needs, that cost us a extra £100 a month, i got utocaria probably wrong spelling lol , 3 months ago and my face was like the elephant mans and was covered in hives, it was a reaction possibly from the phuemonia i had over christmas including a collapsed lung, i have to take steroids and 2 different anthisomeens to control it, i ran out of some meds over the weekend and i started to swell up, same today as ive run out of steroids and skint, so i feel your pain mate, fingers crossed yours gets sorted quick, im still having more blood tests as mine is controlled by medication and i hate taking tablets as too many side effects ::td:: take care mate .

the skin on fire is constant..wow..
joints have cleared up, as much as an old mechanics knuckles ever do...

strange how a medication, you take all your life, can turn on you and leave you looking like walking dead..
thanks everybody.
