NED HELP WITH THIS IXL!

I was given this old IXL by my father several years ago with no information on it at all. I can't seem to find another like it on the internet. I found many similar, but none exactly like it. I would really like to know what style and possible year range this is and the potential value of this knife. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your knife is what is known as a "pruner", a name applied to a fairly large class of single blade knives with a slightly hooked blade shape. It was designed for use in agricultural functions like cutting small branches or vines.
The tang stamp on that knife was used from about 1890-1971. I'll let others speculate as to where along that time line it might have been produced.
Your knife looks to be in very good condition. As far as value is concerned, you dad gave it to you so it's priceless, or at least in my opinion should be.

Is the back side of the tang stamped OIL THE JOINTS ? If so, you can narrow the date down to 1930 to 1971.

Welcome to the site . Great pruner. Based on the blade shape, font style and grooved bolsters, I'd estimate it was made in the early 1900s.... probably before 1930 IMO. It looks like the blade was repinned at some point. Not great monetary value, but a nice family heirloom and good example of old-time cutlery. s-k
