Well, whatever this company was, they produced first rate knives. Even the back of the springs are polished to mirror finish - and ya don't see too many of them like that on 70+ year old folders. I looked at those holes and it seems that they attached the handles to the knife by using brass sleeves through which they threaded nickel silver pins, then the whole thing was peened down by hand.
Guess my $100 was money well spent
