An old Remington?

Post by ButchTN »

Hi. This knife is a 3-blade stockman that measures 3 3/8" when closed and is tang stamped with the block letter REMINGTON inside of a circle with MADE IN THE U.S.A. outside the circle (according to Goins this dates it between 1933 - 1935). The handles appear to be pyremite(?) with no chips or cracks but there is some slight shrinkage at the bolsters. The blades all have great snap and appear to be 75% to 80% full although unfortunately someone has cleaned them. I was planning to trade/sell/auction this knife and I wanted to make sure that it was authentic and if so if anyone had a model # or any other info about it. I want to thank you all in advance for sharing your knowledge with me on this knife.

Butch
