My extensive collection of exactly ONE giraffe bone handled knife does not allow me to claim expert status but I agree that the color on that one is far more consistant than on the one I own. Now I'm not wanting to muddy the water here or dispute Mr. Sexton, because he does know knives, but is there a possibility that we are looking at CAMEL bone instead of giraffe bone?

Send pictures of the knife or an inquiry here .

Maybe you can get a definitive answer to what type of bone.

I am pretty confident it is giraffe bone. I have never seen and cant find this knife in camel bone but I do know it was made in giraffe bone. I dont plan on selling it so I will just be happy its a giraffe bone. Thanks fellas, you all are awesome for all your input and help. I really do apreciate it ;)

Ya know gino, after thinking about it for a while, I think it's warthog bone, but I didn't think it came in that lovely color.

It's Girraffe for sure. I have a Cheetah with the same material. Sometimes it gets a little more spotted but your knife is nice.

I agree that it is Giraffe Bone. I've been carrying one off and on for quite a while.
