sharpen and repair Buck 112 and 110
1 - I have a 2 dot 112 that is in great shape with very little blade loss. It is however very dull. I would like to know where I could send it to be sharpened without scratching the the blade? I use ceramic stix but they seem useless on this blade steel.
2 - I have a 2 dot 110 that is in excallent condition except for a slight blade wobble. Is this something that Buck can fix without changing the blade?
Thank you in advance for your help,

Re: sharpen and repair Buck 112 and 110
Buck's warranty dept is top notch and they are fast.
Here is their address and phone number.
Give then a call and see if there would be any charge.
I have sent a few Bucks in for repair/replacement and they have never charged me yet even for a 110 with a worn out blade. I told them the blade was worn out when I bought the knife & offered to pay what ever they charged. It was returned with a new blade, no charge.
I think Joe Houser is in charge of repair department, among other things.
Joe is a super guy; they don’t come any better than Joe.
His crew will take excellent care of you.
The folks there are awesome!

Re: sharpen and repair Buck 112 and 110
I started this link way back when but never followed up with the finished product from the SPA. So here they are. They performed magic on the 110 all the 112 needed was a new edge which is hair sharp now. I recomend the Buck warranty dept for sure.

I have yet to need the service, but that they have excellent service is great to know; another good reason to buy Buck! Looks like you were well taken care of, nice knives too. OH

Re: sharpen and repair Buck 112 and 110
They only charged me $10 to replace the broken blade on my Buck 055. I thought that was quite reasonable.

Attention Attention Attention
Do not put Buck Knives on address.
Put B.K.I. Then no one see's the word " Knives " on the address line. Buck recommends this.......

+1 on Buck's customer service. In my limited experience they go above and beyond for their customers.

Nice lookin' 110 & 112. Glad the service dept. worked out well. I just sent my first one in last month, and have not gotten it back yet, but the rep. I talked to over the phone was friendly and helpful.
Does anyone know if they sharpen the blade when they do a warranty repair?

It was 6 bucks to sharpen it. Now it's easy to maintain the edge with my ceramic stix.jerryd6818 wrote:They only charged me $10 to replace the broken blade on my Buck 055. I thought that was quite reasonable.

Re: sharpen and repair Buck 112 and 110
I've had great experience with Buck's customer service. Some have read my dislike of the current Buck 301 with the exposed spey. I asked for a different one, and it had the same issue, I then asked for a replacement to a single lockback within what they thought was fair value, and they sent me one, no questions asked.
That kind of customer service is hard to beat.
My Buck 102 I've had for 20 years doesn't miss abeat. Got several other ones, too. Great knives.
