had to post this new one because it took me awhile to close the screwdriver blade. you have to press down on the main blade to unlock other blade. maybe you all knew that but i didn't. .EMPIRE,WINSTED CT.

Thanks Paul. I agree I really have a spot in my heart for the older knives also. The new ones do if for me to though! LOL!

One more old on to share this week..........SOUTHINGTON CUT COMPANY 1867-1905.. another nice one made in CONNECTICUT.












i guess this was a advertising shield ?

Wards Jack (1935-1950)
Pal Cutlery Co. Stockman (1945-1953)
Cast Steel Knife Co. 2 blade Hawkbill (Pre 1900)

Thanks Perry! Thanks paul! ;) I found them all plus a few newer mint condition knives at the flea market last weekend. Are you talking about the PAL Stockman or The Wards Jack?

Perry, I was just wondering because when I came across the wards and the way the hanlde looked I thought of you, you would dig it! The handle is mint and thats not scratches you see in the pic its actually the handle design. looks much better in person.
