Can anyone help?

Post by gruntmedik »

I have a Boy Scout knife made by Ulster that was given to me after my Papaw died. I don't know the value of this knife, but it doesn't matter as I will be passing it on someday. Problem is, the spring for the blade is broken, and I would like to have it fixed. This is not something I feel comfortable trying, even after seeing the tutorials here. Is anyone here willing, or know of someone to fix this for me?

I would suggest contacting Orvet or Muskratman or Elvis here on AAPK. All three are very capable knife mechanics capable of restoring that knife for you. If you need a backspring I have a knife like that one I can donate to the cause (for parts) once you make arrangements with one of them for repairs to be done.
