Ordered an Elk Horn Toothpic. I guess they thought I needed a Muskrat instead. Anyway I like it. It can stay.

Yea, I'd like to order a ebony conductor and unwrap a Genuine Stag trapper instead. That would be sweet.

Edge , Those are nice. I Especially like the whittler . Very classy lookin knife. And I like the green. I been eye ballin one just like it. But I'm tryin to stick with just one handle material .Got to keep the ol monkey on my back in check ya know. Those toothpics are great too. Cant wait to see your other whittlers when they get in !

My latest GEC arrived............

NOS 2007 Northfield Snakewood Muskrat. A little disappointed in this one as the figure of the Snakewood on the pile side looks nothing like that of the wood on the mark side........

Still a exceptionally well built piece, I was just hoping for better bookending of the handle material.

Those are some great Court House Whittlers. I think GEC has hit a homerun with that pattern.
Tap your muskrat pile side almost looks like a burl. I like it better than the mark side. Would make a great EDC.

Earl, outstanding Cubans! Just beautiful.

Regarding the Spring Green bone - excellent question and good catch - the short answer is in good bright light, like sunlight, it looks like the picture; in average "lamp" lighting, it looks darker, more like the antique green bone of the early GEC Tidioutes. In either case, it is a classy color, not "crayola" looking at all.

I am lovin' this heyday of GEC collecting we are in … this could be the "remember when" I think ...
